EADOC is a cloud-based construction management and project collaboration application designed for facility owners and construction managers. The software provides real-time access to project data including drawings, schedules, inspector reports, contracts, and more. The solution is utilized by mid to large-sized capital projects.
EADOC offers both project management and financial management functionality as a part of the suite. The project management application allows construction managers to share key project documents including RFIs, submittals, and change orders with architects, engineers, contractors, and other members of the project team. The software helps construction managers reduce staff hours while increasing project control and share real-time financial performance with clients without creating excel reports.
The application features punch list and LEED point tracking. Key features in the financial management application include contract tracking, pay estimates, schedule of values, budgeting, funding sources and change requests. EADOC also unlimited users and data storage, which allows projects to collaborate with all project participants.

It's mandatory we use it, otherwise we would not.
The report module quickly generates accurate snapshots of project progress and exports data via csv, PDF, and html. The reports are simple and easy to navigate.
The submittals, work report, and RFI modules are less than adequate. These modules are frequently used by our project and resemble a computer program in its primitive stage of development. These modules are not user friendly, difficult to navigate through and using this program to track submittlas takes significantly more time on my end.

We use EADOC for project management of two different multi-million dollar federal civil works projects related to water conveyance and storage. We were looking to improve the submittal/approval process and manage these projects more efficiently. Despite the usual set-up snags, implementation went relatively smoothly and users seemed to have no difficulty navigating through the site. Documents are entered into the system as "requests" which caused confusion in the beginning because of the terminology. However once the basics of how the EADOC system works are learned it is quite intuitive.
One issue is the apparent inability to print each individual submittal, letter, drawing, construction change request, request for information, pay estimate, etc., of the entire project in one batch, i.e. for official filing purposes. In effect we are still having to enter and process documents through EADOC, plus printing and storing the same documents in our main office files. We have not had any issues that would require help from customer support. Otherwise it seems more than adequate to easily maintain and retrieve docs electronically.
