Kubla Cubed
Kubla Cubed is an on-premise earthwork estimation solution designed for construction companies of all sizes. It offers project takeoff and estimation and is compatible with Windows operating systems.
Kubla Cubed allows users to define ground levels using different patterns such as contour lines, break lines and points. These levels can then be categorized into phases using different earthwork elements such as overlay, platform and slopes.
The project takeoff module of the software allows users to import data directly from a CAD file to make volume estimates. The software then calculates the volume of the earthwork and uses the information in project estimates. With customized reporting and dashboards, users can export earthwork estimates to create estimation reports based on the CAD data.
Subscription-based and perpetual pricing models are available, as well as a free basic version of the software. Support is provided over the phone and via email.

- Easy to understand and use after a day or two practice (much easier to follow than my previous cut and fill software)
- Features to cover all necessary scenarios: roads, houses, retaining walls, etc
- Regular product updates
- Good customer support
- Competitively priced
Cons
- Very little negative to say except some annoying glitches when a new version is released, however these are soon rectified
